Nuorten talo brings together services for people under the age of 30 provided by the City of Jyväskylä and the Central Finland Wellbeing Services County.

The Youth Center consists of Ohjaamo Jyväskylä, Outreach youth work services, and the Jyväskylä youth mental health and substance abuse team. Nuorten talo is coordinated by the youth services of the City of Jyväskylä.

What services can I get from Nuorten talo?

The organizations operating in the building provide their own services. Ohjaamo Jyväskylä services are available without an appointment through the walk-in service for people under 30.
You can check available services and opening hours in the walk-in calendar.

Nuorten talo also organizes various group activities, campaigns, and events.

Ohjaamo Jyväskylä

If you don’t know where to start, start with Ohjaamo! Ohjaamo Jyväskylä is a free service for people under 30, offering guidance and advice on topics such as employment, education, leisure time, housing, finances, wellbeing, and other everyday matters. Ohjaamo services are available through Finland in different service points.

Jyväskylä Youth Mental Health and Substance Abuse Team

The mental health and substance abuse team serves young people aged 13–22 from Jyväskylä, Toivakka, Joutsa, Uurainen, Luhanka, and Muurame in matters related to mental health and substance use.

Outreach Youth Work

Outreach youth work is intended for young people aged 15–28 who are outside education and working life. Its purpose is to reach young people in need of support and help them access services or other forms of support that promote independence and life management, and ultimately support their transition into education and the labor market.
